Very nicely decorated small hotel, good cleaning, good quality for money
Access to the rooms in through a hallway which is a bit strange Also the hotel is quite far from the center, might be a bonus for those looking for quiet places

Cleanliness, decor, airport transfers, meeting other travellers, quiet at night, shopping mall close, a family atmosphere. Our room smelt wonderful- what is the linen washed in ! We were exhausted after a flight from Europe and we felt safe and welcome in our room where we slept off our jet lag. Staff were helpful. The little dog was cute. We really appreciated the little gestures by staff to assist us including starting breakfast early when we had to leave at 6.30 for a tour. And the hosts seem like a lovely family, loved the pictures around the building of the family. Certainly a very relaxed atmosphere.
I had bruises on my legs from hitting the sharp and pointed ends of the beds in the room which only just fitted the twin beds. We moved the beds to try and avoid this ! May I suggest having a long fitted piece of padding permanently fitted/tied to the full length of the ends of the beds so when guests inevitably hit the bed ends they will not hurt themselves. The little stuffed toys tied to the ends slip off. I don''t know why hand towels weren't replaced and a used towel left for the bidet. Breakfast was good but not great. On our last morning the breakfast looked fantastic with little flower sweets and other treats.

The Nest was very comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere a small guest house with lana styled decor at the bottom of a quiet soi. Reasonably placed should you know Chiang Mai. I wanted to explore Chiang Mai on foot so it was ideal. If you wanted a hot breakfast you had to be up early as it was put out at 7 am and left in hot trays but cooled very quickly. For the small number of guests a fresh breakfast should not have been out of the question???

nice bed and breakfast, quite surroinding, nice quarter of the city, very clean rooms and cleaning ladies are veryy friendly. also the 18 year old dog
the reception stuff is always surfing around in the net or playing computergames, even when you want to ask something and tv is running whole day. one guy of the two young guys from the reception stuff is not talking a word english and always watching cockfights on the internet , not nice. Breakfast is for veggis poor, but ok.
